Help – i’m an adjudicator

To register as a judge, there are two options:
If you haven't been contacted and are interested in judging, please contact us via etdsamsterdam@gmail.com. Please note that registering does not guarantee selection as a judge.
- If you are participating as a dancer and want to judge, you can register through your team captain using the regular system.
- For external judges, registration is handled personally by Corinca and Niek.

External adjudicators will know at least 1 month in advance if they are chosen to adjudicate. Participating adjudicators will hear this at least 1 month in advance. The first planning of adjudicators is expected to be posted here 1 month in advance. Of course, changes to the planning may be posted at any time.
We use a digital system that is connected to the xTDS portal. This system can be accessed through a web application that is compatible with smartphones and tablets. You will receive your login information before the event so you can test it out.
Adjudicators without prior experience with the xTDS system are expected to be at the tournament hall at 8:30 AM. If you have no experience judging at an ETDS, please be there at 8.00 and find Corinca Zwijsen.
Adjudicators with prior experience are expected to be there at 8:30 AM for a briefing and updates on the system. Please be on time, as the competition cannot start without you, and we like to run things smoothly and on schedule. You will be replaced by another judge if you’re not present at the required time.

You will need to bring your knowledge, a positive attitude, and your best attire. Additionally, you will need a smartphone or tablet. If you don't have one or are unable to bring one, please inform us and we will arrange one for you.
Yes, food and drinks will be provided: breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday and Sunday, plus breakfast on Monday. Please inform us or your team captain of any dietary restrictions before mid April 2023
